Forth Valley College's Apprenticeships, Skills & Commercial Department is on the lookout for a Engineering Work Based Assessor to join our dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in supporting and assessing candidates within the Instrument and Control, Electrical disciplines.The ideal candidate will have a current understanding of industry practices, with a particular emphasis on vocational qualifications and quality frameworks.
Please note job share will be considered, so if you are interested in part time employment please do apply.Deliver guidance and support to candidates in compiling and presenting a comprehensive portfolio of evidence that adheres to the vocational qualification's performance criteria and evidence requirements.
Inspire, encourage, and motivate candidates, fostering an environment conducive to learning and professional growth.Participate actively as a member of the Engineering assessment team, contributing to the continuous improvement of assessment processes and practices.
Proven, relevant, and up-to-date hands on industry experience in Manufacturing, Machining and Mechanical Maintenance Engineering disciplines.Experience in the oil and gas sector and engineering environments.
A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and skill development within the engineering field.
Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for frequent and extensive travel.
