    About the team

    You will be working as a key member of the Operations Intelligence team responsible for data and insights into the Enterprise operations. You'll be joining a team that is at the heart of what FIS deliver for our merchants that operate in over 150 countries across the globe. It is fast paced, fun and interesting with a great group of colleagues.

    As part of the wider Enterprise Operations team, you will be a fundamental component of driving the change in Worldpay's Enterprise Merchant solutions offering through the delivery of insights.

    The payments industry is going through a period of rapid change and growth, and insights into customers and our operations to support customer needs is critical to win in this space. This opportunity would put you at the centre of this, driving insights to inform business strategy, while leveraging some of the leading cloud-based technologies.

    The role is London based although the overall Enterprise Operations team is spread across countries.

    What you will be doing

    You will support the Enterprise Operations teams by:

    • Delivering reports and insights into end to end operations performance and trends, investigating data anomalies and ensuring a single source of truth
    • Identify and implement data-driven process optimization while continuously improving & automating internal processes
    • Interpreting data to discover patterns and identify trends, you will create timely, relevant and actionable insights that will be highly impactful.
    • Creating and managing highly intricate data models and data-mining large, complex data sets to identify opportunities across our portfolio.
    • Work with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualizations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies.
    • Tracking of key strategic initiatives, guiding the business on effectiveness of strategy
    • Supporting in forecasts and targets to manage capacity.
    • Compiles data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data models.
    • Working with commercial teams to drive performance improvements.

    What you bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar
    • 5+ years related experience, working with large and unstructured data, deploying, and implementing recommendations across the business.
    • A strong understanding of Payments, and B2C / B2B2C / B2B distribution
    • Experience in Querying, extracting, and transforming large data sets and leveraging data from various sources.
    • The ability to transform data into insights which can be presented/communicated to senior stakeholders across the business.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL/Python/R and visualisation tools like Tableau, and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
    • Strong Excel skills, and extensive experience using Excel for analysis.
    • An understanding of Data Science techniques and it's applications in a B2B/B2C environment
    • Naturally inquisitive about payments and excitement for the journey for Enterprise Global Payments
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
