About the RoleAs part of the Global Publishing Team, you will aid Tencent studios in building brands for their upcoming titles.
You will understand the target audience and construct brand guides and assets that will communicate our game USPs to potential players.
Job ResponsibilitiesBrand Guide :
Working across a range of game studios, you will help their teams establish brand guides for in development titles.
You will understand the game promise, its audience and its USPs and translate this into logos, execution guides and brand asset bibles.
You will research game names, logos, and work with legal teams to protect these brands globally.These brand guides will inform regional marketing teams and community teams on how to execute the brand and work with its assets.
Agency Partners :
You will work with agency teams to develop and implement brand bibles and brand assets.
You will use your experience of working with agencies to vet the process of asset creation and integrate their work with studio and publishing team feedback.
You will work with internal asset creation teams to ensure our game brands are understood and executed correctly as marketing campaign asset production begins.
Translocalisation :
Understand our global markets and ensure that our brand communication materials resonate with players across all our target markets.
Work with country teams to localize and personalize materials for their markets where appropriate. Partner with Tencent localization teams to ensure the brands we build translate correctly across all regions.Audience Intelligence :
Partner with the Publishing Intelligence teams to build relevant insights into global brand positioning, reflected in your brand plans.
Monitor updates from competing games and provide insights that help our games stand out in a crowded market.Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree and above. Excellent spoken and written English.
5 years+ of brand management. Proven experience working on branding and brand campaigns for a digital entertainment brand, ideally in the video game sector.
Experience managing agency partners and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
Prior use of market research to inform decision making on pre-launch brands.
A real passion for the games industry with genuine interest and knowledge in games.
You will be the voice of our game to the players, so some experience of speaking at public events is required along with the ability to empathise with the varied needs of different player types.
Able to communicate and work closely with cross-functional teams, adapt to different time zones, be able to respond to team requests in a timely manner.
Organised and with very good project management skills. Able to prioritise effectively and be competent in handling multiple programmes across multiple markets.Reports to
