- To utilise clinical skills e.g. Venepuncture, Skin Prick Testing, Inhaler technique, wound care.
- To offer advice and support regarding acute and long term paediatric continence.
- To support patients/carers, encouraging them to promote their own health and wellbeing and to express their interests and concerns.
- To evaluate the effectiveness of all interventions in meeting prior agreed goals and making any necessary modifications.
- To review all aspects of the care plan and identifying when it is not addressing the patients needs and renegotiating the care plan to meet the childs needs.
- To maintain accurate and legible patient notes (written and electronic) in accordance with Trust and national professional policies and guidelines.

- IT/Computer literate: able to word process, input data and use basic spreadsheets
- Excellent report writing skills, demonstrating sound clinical knowledge, with clear and succinct rationale

You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of patients attending the Children's Outpatients Department, undertaking a variety of nurse led clinics, including Phlebotomy, Allergy, growth clinic and Botox clinic.
The post holder will work closely with the clinical specialists to provide treatment, assessment and expertise for a diverse group of children and young people.
