Description
Job overview
Are you passionate about co-creation and involvement? Do you recognise the importance of championing the voices of those with lived experience and from seldom heard groups?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our small and friendly team as the Voice and Participation Co-Ordinator for the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Partnership.
This pivotal role will ensure there is a consistent approach to participation, involvement and co-production, which removes barriers and embraces the diverse range of voices and lived experience in our system to help shape our health and care services.
You will have a strong track record of leading engagement, involvement and co-production programmes of work and be passionate about championing the voice of people with lived experience and from seldom heard groups. You will provide expertise, advice and guidance to health colleagues in relation to how they involve communities and utilise best practice and existing research and knowledge. You will also undertake and lead specific programmes of work that strengthen voice and participation within the ICS.
You will have a very positive, 'can do' attitude and be able to prioritise, plan and organise your time efficiently and effectively. No two days will be the same in this varied and flexible role. If you are as comfortable spending a day with the team as you are working independently and confidently with new people, this could be the job for you.
