    IT Infrastructure Engineer, SOCOTEC, Bretby

    To support our ambition growth plans we have a great opportunity to join our Central Services teams here at Socotec. With over 1800 UK employees our Central Services functions are key to ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Based in Bretby, working across the specialisms in HR, Marketing, Finance and IT we pride ourselves of partnering and support our operational divisions to deliver a world class service to our customers.

    We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:

    • Leading incidents and requests to resolution
    • Plan and perform the design, installation and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure telephony
    • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot support, installations, deployment for servers, networks, desktop and telephony infrastructure

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10 and MS Server 2012r
    • Strong Knowledge on back up solutions
    • Networking topologies, protocols & methodologies
    • Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Vlans, VPN's
    • HCI technology / Nutanix
    • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory (AAD)
