    Our client based in Theale is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

    This role is responsible for a range of duties, supporting the Head of Finance and working closely with the Finance Manager to produce the company accounts on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.

    This role offers a blend of revenue and inventory focused responsibilities with exposure to wider financial reporting processes such as preparing financial statements and contributing towards the month-end processes.


    To be considered for the Senior Accountant role you must be a Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have previous experience in managing at least 1 direct report.


    Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role are:

    • Inventory & revenue accruals
    • Full review and maintenance of all inventory locations with regular counts and reconciliations
    • Management of the REG Finance mailbox
    • Accounting for and reviewing warranty & stock provisions.
    • Updating TB and producing financial statements for internal reporting
    • Completion of REG Financial highlights data
    • Assist with the production of the management accounts in accordance with IFRS.
    • Produce and maintain a schedule of all European tax requirements and ensure all payments are made ahead of deadlines.
    • Preparing tax returns and partnering closely with external tax advisors to effectively deliver on all tax related deadlines on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis for the Company and its branches.
    • Managing tax provisions under IFRS in monthly, quarterly & year-end reporting cycles.
    • Ownership of tax balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Serve as the point of contact for corporate tax-related queries and provide tax analysis and advice for projects.
    • Assist with the production of the statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
    • Work closely with Finance Manager on the quarterly and year-end audits by external auditors.


    For the Senior Accountant position our client is offering a salary of £35 000 to £55 000 dependant of experience.

    As well as the basic salary our client offers additional benefits including Pension, Healthcare and onsite parking.

    Working hours for the Senior Accountant role are Monday to Friday.
