    Description

    Design Engineer

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience to join a dynamic, fast-growing company that will provide you with a strong package, bonus, flexi Friday hours and more As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of design and development support from design conception stage right through to final production, seeing every step of the manufacturing process. My client is also open to hiring a Senior Design Engineer for candidates with 5 years + experience post grad.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Research and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics
    2. Develop test prototypes
    3. Identify solutions to improve production efficiency
    4. Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products
    5. Maintain existing engineering records and designs
    6. Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks
    7. Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs
    8. Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs
    9. Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department

    The successful candidate will have:

    Degree qualified in Design Engineering or possess significant relevant experience
    2D and 3D modelling experience (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
    Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes
    Excellent time management and communication skills
    Excellent people and interpersonal skills
    Logical thinker with good analytical and problem-solving skills
