- Using account management expertise to cultivate and strengthen relationships with assigned accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.

- Craft compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition.
- Negotiate and secure winning renewals, maintaining strong customer satisfaction and maximising account profitability.
- Partner effectively with internal teams (Customer Success, wider sales colleagues (SDR/BDR & KAM), L&D, marketing, product development) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve shared goals.
- Utilise CRM systems to track progress, analyse customer data, and develop data-driven account management strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and company offerings to ensure a competitive advantage for clients.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a B2B account management role, ideally within the IT SaaS space or Facilities Management technologies/CAFM solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding customer retention and growth targets.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools (e.g., HubSpot etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Facilities Management technologies/CAFM solutions experience would be advantageous

Nigel Wright Group are excited to be supporting a dynamic and rapidly expanding Software as a Service (SaaS) company in their search for an experienced Account Manager. Our client provides industry leading technology solutions, servicing a range of sectors including government, healthcare and facilities management. The Account Manager will build strong relationships with existing clients and act as their trusted advisor, ensuring they maximise the product. This role focuses on client retention, guiding users through migration from an older legacy product to a brand new offering plus identifying upsell and renewal opportunities. This is a hybrid role with regular visits to the brand new office facilities in Newcastle city centre.
