    Description

    Job Title: Cloud Engineer at Leonardo Cyber Security Division

    The Leonardo Cyber Security Division in Bristol is seeking Cloud Engineers to join their team. The role involves collaborating with project teams throughout the system life cycle, from design to ongoing support. You will work with various cyber security and ICT products in defence, government, or public sector organizations.

    As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the platform team. Your responsibilities will include supporting larger project teams, designing, developing, testing, and offering support for Information Management Systems, Command and Control systems, Security Monitoring, and more.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Experience with cloud and systems engineering activities
    • Working knowledge of cloud vendors and PaaS technologies
    • Building release pipelines and maintaining shared services
    • Supporting project teams in a compliant manner
    • Strong cyber security knowledge

    AWS:

    • Strong AWS engineering experience
    • Infrastructure as code and cloud automation expertise
    • Transformation to AWS from traditional services
    • Understanding of AWS technologies

    The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud systems engineering or IT solution delivery, preferably in a secure environment. A good technical background with network and systems infrastructure knowledge is necessary. Awareness of cyber security capabilities is a plus.

    Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge

    The role requires SC clearance and a willingness to achieve DV clearance. Good knowledge of IT systems, networking services, and interpersonal skills are essential.
