Supply Chain Demand Planner - London, United Kingdom - Wildfarmed
Description
Job Description
Supply Chain Demand Planner
A little insight into our origins...
In 2008, one of our founders, Andy Cato, was coming back from a gig when he stumbled upon an article highlighting the challenges of the industrial food system. This piece concluded with the powerful message: 'If you're not a fan of the system, don't rely on it.' This spurred Andy to sell off the rights to his music (his retirement fund) and invest in a farm.
After 15 years of setbacks, extensive experimentation, hard graft, obstacles, and enlightenment, we've built the most extensive network of regenerative land cultivators in the UK. This means we're cultivating vibrant crops on a large scale while simultaneously rejuvenating landscapes.
In 2018, we introduced Wildfarmed - a brand focused on regenerative agriculture and cuisine. We've amassed over 400 clients, including prominent players in the UK bakery and dining scene, and our products can now be found in retail outlets nationwide, providing flour, bread, pizza, pasta, and more to establishments like ASK Italian, Jolene, Franco Manca, Ottolenghi, Pizza Pilgrims, The Fat Duck, Manchester City, Abel & Cole, Zizzi, Ocado, Waitrose, and M&S. We are molding a brand that, akin to our fields, teems with vitality because sustainability should not be tedious (and cannot afford to be). We are causing ripples and recently secured the Bakery Industry Sustainability Initiative of the Year award.
If you're keen on playing a pivotal role in our future expansion, possess a solid understanding of the food and agriculture domain, and exude vitality, then we want to hear from you. Wildfarmed represents a lively, fast-moving startup where expectations and execution standards are high, and we have a steep hill to climb. It's going to entail hard work, but it will also be immensely enjoyable and gratifying.
About the Role
About You
We are on a mission to revolutionize the food landscape by fostering a community of farmers, bakers, and change-makers. To realize this vision, we are seeking individuals who embody vitality, drive, and a determination to drive change.

We understand that a job encompasses more than just the monthly paycheck. As part of the Wildfarmed family, not only will you have the chance to take ownership of your role and steer it to success, but you'll also be part of something incredibly significant - actively contributing to the restoration of our environment. Your input will aid in the growth of Wildfarmed, and we, in turn, will support your professional development.
Here's what we offer:
