    Description

    Imports/Exports CoordinatorLocation:

    WarwickshireOur client is an international logistics company and they're looking for an Imports/Exports Coordinator to sit onsite with their automotive client in Warwickshire.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting outbound movements on behalf of the client, ensuring excellent customer service and proactive involvement in finding solutions.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and manage transport orders for all modes
    • Plan and arrange international consignments as per client requirements
    • Complete export/import documents and customs entries
    • Collect VAT/Duty from customers if required
    • Monitor outbound movement's end-to-end
    • Collaborate onsite with various departments for efficient planning
    • Quote new traffic and manage day-to-day invoicing and job costing
    • Record, monitor, and coordinate potential insurance claims
    • Communicate with overseas offices/partners
    • Ensure prompt and efficient handling of enquiries and communications.
    • Meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information
    • Compile daily reports on collections/deliveries.
    • Address deviations from the transport plan
    • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to ensure uninterrupted serviceRequirements:
    • Working knowledge of import and export documentation
    • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
    • Proactive mind-set with attention to detail.
    • Friendly, calm, and professional demeanour.
    • Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively.
    • Adaptable to change and effective teamwork.
    • Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
