KERB is a company dedicated to empowering food businesses. We specialize in supporting the growth of innovative independent food ventures.

We organize vibrant street food markets, workshops, consultancy services, bars, a food hall in Central London, and operate a thriving corporate catering company, KERB Events Limited.

Our core belief is centered around food and people. We are passionate about creating opportunities for individuals with potential.

Whether it's food entrepreneurs or team members, our goal is to spark possibilities through exceptional food, starting from the core of KERB.

2023 marked significant growth for the KERB Group, and now we are seeking an outstanding Project Manager to join our partnerships team as we continue our growth journey into 2024.

As a Project Manager, your role will be pivotal in the day-to-day operations of KERB Events, overseeing the complete delivery of large-scale live events, many of which include bar services and production at various prestigious locations such as The KIA Oval, Goodwood Motor Circuit, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Aston Villa Football Club, Leicester Tigers, and Jockey Club Racing venues.

Additionally, as a Project Manager for KERB Events, you will manage crucial partnership connections and venue clients. If you are eager for a new challenge within a company that genuinely values exceptional food, top-tier events, and outstanding hospitality, submit your application today.

    What you'll be responsible for:

    • End-to-end planning of large events including trader communication, site visits, on-site logistics, staffing, access planning, and event-specific administration.
    • On-site management of food and bar services, as well as overseeing venue, partner, and client interactions during events.
    • Collaborating with the bars team to organize and execute bar services across live events.
    • Managing key partners and venue clients, acting as their main point of contact before and during events.
    • Overseeing event budgets to ensure target GPs are met.
    • Working closely with the finance team on post-event financial reconciliation and reporting.
    • Expanding KERB's offerings in collaboration with Compass partners and actively seeking new opportunities.
    • Building strong relationships with street food traders and independent businesses to nurture and expand the community.
    • Identifying and developing new traders and food businesses that align with the KERB ethos.
    • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of food and traders.
    • Collaborating with the marketing teams to promote partnership events and the trader community.
    • Travelling to venues across the Midlands and working weekends as needed to manage events.

What you bring to the table:

    • Minimum of 3 years of event and/or project management experience, preferably with a focus on food and drink events.
    • Experience in bar management.
    • Proactive mindset with strong business acumen, capable of taking the lead and overseeing projects from start to finish.
    • Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
    • Understanding of food and restaurant operations.
    • Excellent IT skills and aptitude for learning new technologies.
    • Familiarity with EPOS systems, preferably Good Till.
    • Passion and knowledge of the independent food and drink industry.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to engage with clients and traders in a consultative manner and form lasting relationships.
    • Full and clean driver's license.
    • Willingness to travel, including to the Midlands, and work weekends as required.
    • A fervent love for outstanding food.

    Desirable qualifications:

    • Experience or solid understanding of working with independent food traders.
    • Previous experience in line management.
