The role:

As Management Accountant, you'll work with the Financial Controller on:

Monthly Management Accounts

Assist the Financial Controller in the production of monthly management accounts and related monthly analysis.

Cash Management and Forecasts

Weekly, monthly and annual cash management, to include cash-flow modelling. This will include supporting analysis for FX management with the business transacting in multiple international currencies.

Budgeting and 5 Year Financial Plan

Assisting the Financial Controller to manage the annual budget and 5-year financial plan process, ensuring they are produced within agreed timescales.

Quarterly Business Forecasts

Assist the Financial Controller with on-going review of business forecasts with budget holders, updating reporting regularly to align with agreed changes.

Ad-hoc analysis and finance related projects to support the business, as required.

Requirements

The kind of person you are:

Fully (or nearly) qualified accountant
2+ years working in an accounts environment, post-qualification
Experience working with cloud based financial systems e.g. Xero
Advanced understanding of excel
Experience in budgeting, modelling and forecasting
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
Ability to work to tight deadlines

Skills to impress:

Experience working with Xero
Professional experience in the travel/IT industry

Location: We are offering truly flexible working options so you can decide whether you want to work from home, from our central Brighton office or a bit of both (within the UK).

Hours: 37.5 per week, flexitime
