Freelance Project Manager Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a knack for overseeing Overhead Line and excavation projects, ranging from LV to 33kV?

We are currently seeking a skilled freelance Project Manager to lead diverse projects in the Aylesbury area, primarily focused on diverting poles and undergrounding assets to facilitate the HS2 route and associated works.

Project Leadership:

Take charge of end-to-end project management, overseeing the diversion of poles and undergrounding assets, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Utilise your expertise in Overhead Line and excavation techniques to ensure successful delivery of projects within the LV to 33kV voltage range.

Stakeholder Management:

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.

Commercial Acumen:

Demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial aspects, including budget management, cost control, and contract negotiation, to drive project success and profitability.

Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Overhead Line and excavation projects, with exposure to voltages from LV to 33kV.

Excellent understanding of pole diversion and asset undergrounding processes, particularly in relation to infrastructure projects such as HS2.
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project finances effectively to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Relevant qualifications and certifications in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or related fields would be advantageous.
