    This opportunity is in the well-regarded Global Middle Office team, based in London.

    Independent Price Verification (IPV) and market curve data management;
    Development activities including continuous improvements to the Middle Office processes;
    Developing analysis tools and reports; valuation and exposure analysis on new structured transactions.
    Closely working with the Commercial Teams to ensure full understanding of the rationale for positions held / trading strategies that are applied, and on a daily basis ensuring the P&L changes and financial exposure modelling are understood
    Preparation of monthly IFRS complaint portfolio valuations, with full explanation of any variances to the daily Economic P&L, ensuring understanding of the appropriate accounting frameworks
    Implementation and administration of the daily Independent Price Verification (IPV) and settlement curve integrity processes
    Create and prepare periodic and ad-hoc valuation reports for senior management (weekly and monthly valuation reporting, IFRS Risks analysis, Economic vs IFRS valuation differences)
    Conduct any ad-hoc/one-off portfolio analysis upon both the Front Office or any other Support Function requests with regard to both the economic and IFRS valuation impact of a new commercial transactions/hedging strategies
    Develop, implement and maintain the Product Control reporting framework within the SEFE M&T policies, supporting the development of these policies as necessary
    Design, specify and UAT any functionality delivered through systems development and enhancement. Proactively identifying and prioritising both IT supported initiatives / end user tactical solutions to improve team efficiencies and reduce operational risk and controls
    Sound knowledge of Middle Office best practices across the Deal Lifecycle, with experience in commodity valuations
    Manage stakeholder's expectations, particularly to develop and maintain trust and close partnership with both the Front Office and other Support Functions;
    Strong verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a simple and immediately understandable way tailored to the audience;
    Very good analytical skills to review/assess a standalone complex structured transaction and/or a large trading portfolio;
    Prior experience in a Middle Office role, environment dealing with reporting, controls and systems development;
    Good understanding of the energy commodity market, with prior expertise in one or more asset in this list is preferred; Excellent Excel skills; Experience in VBA/SQL/Python or any other programming language is a preferential
