- Lead the heritage consultancy team, overseeing architectural, landscape, and master-planning projects.
- Provide expert advice, advocacy, and guidance on heritage matters, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
- Drive business development efforts, including bid preparation, networking, and leveraging regional contacts.
- Collaborate with regional leadership teams in the office and satellite offices, to execute business development plans, manage resources, and ensure financial profitability and quality assurance.
- Conduct archival and desk-based research, analyze on-site built fabric, and produce comprehensive reports.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, planning and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Strong experience in building conservation, buildings archaeology, heritage planning, or related fields.
- Ideally background as an Architect in the heritage sector
- Proficiency in archival research, on-site built fabric analysis, and report writing.
- Proven track record in providing advice as a heritage lead and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in preparing fee proposals and bids, along with a strong understanding of UK heritage legislation, policy, and guidance.
- Knowledge of the markets in the north of England and Scotland, previous line management experience, and membership(s) of professional institutions such as IHBC or CIFA are highly desirable.
