    Role Overview:

    At Dukes Plus Consultancy, we pride ourselves on our relationships with schools across the world. It is fundamental to the success of our organisation. A Partnerships Development Manager is a school's first point of contact. They must exude Dukes Plus Consultancy's values, enthusiasm and be able to create strong relationships of trust, encouraging teachers to recommend all brands within Dukes Plus Consultancy. In order for teachers to share our opportunities with their students, they must have the utmost faith in our ability to transform their students' lives with first-class guidance on their chosen higher education pathway.

    You will be supported to generate a list of schools and colleges and be expected to build relationships with them. You will demonstrate how you have contributed to business growth through activity levels and growth in private client bookings associated with your school partners.

    The role of the Partnerships Development Manager is to:

    • Build lasting relationships with key decision makers, so as to increase the number of students that we work with. This involves maintaining existing relationships, actively seeking out new contacts and developing brand new relationships.
    • Go above and beyond in the means by which you maintain those relationships including through the following:
    • Meetings/calls (virtual and in-person)
    • Developing and delivering regular presentations both virtually and in schools for students and parents
    • Representing Dukes Plus Consultancy at events including careers fairs and educational conferences
    • Researching trends or developments within the education sphere, to create engaging thought leadership (including termly newsletters, free university guidance content and webinars)
    • Collaborating as a team to find ways to constantly improve our service to teachers
    • Being your schools' first point-of-call for any queries via phone and email
    • Administer private client bookings, using CRM software
    • As/when needed, introduce school partners to the School Sales team to create a bespoke programme to be delivered in school

    You have, and can demonstrate, the following skills and interests:

    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral
    • An affinity for public speaking and presenting, adapting your approach to different audiences
    • A deeply-invested belief in Dukes Plus Consultancy's sense of purpose and our programmes, along with a sense of affiliation with our cultural values (set out above)
    • A passion for education and the futures of young people
    • The ability to build and develop professional relationships with a range of stakeholders, including through cold-contacting
    • Self-motivated and driven by individual KPl's (activity & sales targets) thereby contributing to the growth of the organisation
    • Self-starter and resilient attitude with the ability to use your initiative to create your own work and think outside the box
    • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage your own calendar effectively, including booking meetings, arranging travel between schools and managing additional projects
    • Proven strong work ethic, educated to degree/apprenticeship level with relevant professional experience
    • Strong team player with a desire to go above and beyond to show dedication to both external stakeholders and colleagues
    • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Clean full UK driving licence is helpful but not necessary

    Salary: £30,000 plus commission for private client sales made by you through your school partner channels

    Start date: 1 August, with the possibility to start sooner.

    Working Schedule: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday- Friday. Some weekend and evening work may be required, but you will know dates for this well in advance, and be given time off in lieu during the weekdays.

    Location: Hybrid working with 2-3 days in our central London office and 2-3 days from home. You can also expect to travel around the UK and sometimes abroad in order to attend meetings and deliver presentations in schools.
