    Section Manager for Motor Vehicles – FE College – Permanent – Uxbridge

    Our College's Motor Vehicle Section is well-equipped with modern workshops and the latest tools and resources.

    The institution has made significant investments in hybrid/electric technology to enhance the educational experience for learners.

    The primary students are between 16 and 19 years old and are pursuing City and Guilds qualifications, with future plans to introduce more IMI qualifications.

    The Section Manager position requires solid subject knowledge, continuous professional development, and expertise in teaching methodologies.

    As the Section Manager for Motor Vehicles, you will oversee the curriculum management of Motor Vehicle programs, supervise lecturers, assessors, and coordinate Work Based Learning initiatives.

    All candidates must hold relevant qualifications in Automotive Engineering/Motor Vehicle, a Level 5 teaching certification endorsed by the FE sector, and at least 3 years of Motor Vehicle teaching experience.

    Additionally, candidates need experience in curriculum management, a deep understanding of Work Based Learning, and strong leadership skills to drive team success.

    • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Automotive Engineering/Motor Vehicle
    • Minimum of Level 5 teaching qualification recognized by the FE sector
    • Extensive teaching experience in Motor Vehicle with a proven track record of success
    • Industry experience in Motor Vehicle
    • Leadership and supervisory experience
    • Ability to foster relationships with local employers
    • Experience in delivering Motor Vehicle apprenticeships
    • Thorough knowledge of apprentice/learner pathways into Standards
