    Early Years Sufficiency and Market Development Consultant


    Contract Type:
    Ongoing

    Hybrid/mostly working from home


    Paye Rate:
    £19/hr


    Role Overview:

    As an Early Years Sufficiency and Market Development Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the community has sufficient childcare places to meet local demand.

    You will work closely with childcare providers, including childminders, schools, academies, and private settings, to support them in expanding and enhancing their provision.

    Your expertise will be crucial in analysing data, developing strategies, and providing guidance to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of early years childcare services across Staffordshire.

    Acquire detailed local knowledge of the Early Years and Childcare market.
    Collaborate with providers to secure sufficient places to meet local demand.
    Assist providers with promotional marketing strategies to enhance viability.
    Conduct sufficiency audit data collection twice yearly.
    Analyse district and ward level data to create action plans for sufficient childcare places.

    Provide guidance on premises suitability for Ofsted Criteria:
    Degree in Early Years and Childcare and/or Business.
    Clear understanding of sufficiency and market development planning.
    Knowledge and experience of early years and childcare within a business context.
    Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data effectively.
    Team player with a creative problem-solving approach.
    Competent IT skills, including Excel proficiency.
