    Job Title: Renal Services Staff Nurse - Transplant Team

    Company: Salford Care Organisation (Part of the Greater Manchester Kidney Care Network)

    Salford Care Organisation is a key player in the Greater Manchester Kidney Care Network, offering Renal Services to patients in the North & West Sector of Greater Manchester.

    This role within the Transplant Team is perfect for an experienced Staff Nurse or Band 6 Nurse seeking a challenging and rewarding position.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality care to a post renal transplant patient population
    • Support patients in outpatient visits and nurse-led clinics
    • Assess and triage associated conditions
    • Educate and support healthcare professionals and patients

    The ideal candidate should have renal experience, be a team player, and possess well-developed communication skills.

    A non-medical prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.

    A car driver is required for outreach transplant clinics in Oldham, Bolton, and Wigan.

    Job Requirements:

    Applicants must have a current NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK.

    Applications from International Nurses and Midwives are not accepted if they have not completed all competencies for a full NMC PIN.

    Qualifications & Registration:

    Essential

    • Current NMC registration
    • Degree level studies or equivalent

    Desirable

    • Masters level qualification
    • Non-medical prescribing
    • Experience within organ donation role

    Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

    Essential

    • Evidence of clinical and managerial expertise through CPD and experience
    • Effective communication skills

    Desirable

    • Experience in renal services
