    Your opportunity

  • Update and maintain portfolio risk modelling spreadsheets; perform risk analysis on a variety of mandates
  • Produce reports and position summaries as needed
  • Update monthly standard presentations and assist in the preparation of data for presentations, client reporting and ad hoc marketing content; communicate with clients as necessary
  • Work closely with the Performance Measurement team to ensure accurate reporting and performance attribution
  • Provide analytics to ensure consistency across accounts and strategies
  • Work with the portfolio managers and research analysts on ad hoc investment projects
  • Assist in building quantitative tools for better capturing data and enhancing alpha generation
  • Engage with other departments to facilitate portfolio administration such as corporate actions
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the team, client portfolio managers, client account managers, operations team, RFP team and marketing department
  • Build up knowledge of the CRD dealing platform (the team's portfolio management software) and associated custom applications
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

    • Must have skills

  • Interest in financial markets / macroeconomics and a desire to learn about investments and the analysis of fixed income markets
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Studying towards (or intending to) the IMC and/or CFA qualifications
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Proactive, fast learning, hard-working and thorough
  • Team player with effective communication skills; an excellent level of written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to prioritise and cope well with changing priorities and tasks
  • Open minded / curious and willing to ask questions

    • Nice to have skills

  • Knowledge of Python or alternative coding language
  • Relevant and/or similar experience working in or adjacent to fixed income markets
  • Educated to degree level, preferably with a focus towards data science/finance
  • Skill sets in risk / performance/ investment operations would be advantageous'
