    Description
    The Veterinary Clinic, Erdington
    Up to £80,000 depending on experience, up to £5,000 relocation support, plus benefits

    Beyond a clinical focus involving consultations and surgeries, this pivotal role entails spearheading the growth and sustained success of our cohesive network comprising 5 clinics.

    Management duties
    Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
    Ensure all Health and Safety policies are adhered to within the Practice.
    Ensure that all financial policies and procedures (including those relating to cash management and banking) are adhered to.

    Be responsible for the financial performance of the Practice including the achievement of the EBITDA as set out in the Practice Budget and Business Plan, working towards a Vet: Sales ratio of 4.5x.

    Adhere to the IVC Pricing Policy.
    Be responsible for the clinical staff rotas including out-of-hours' provision to meet legal and professional responsibilities.
    Ensure the practice complies with current Data Protection Legislation.
    Clinical management duties
    Comply with the legal obligations in relation to prescription, safekeeping and supply of Veterinary medicinal products.
    Ensure that all client complaints are handled sensitively and in accordance with the IVC Complaints Policy.
    Ensure that referrals to specialist vets are made appropriately and that wherever appropriate within the IVC referrals network.
    Apply and follow all IVC policies and procedures relating to HR.
    Ensure the IVC HR system is used for the management of all HR and personnel matters.
    Recruit, manage and discipline staff in accordance with IVC policies and procedures.
    Review pay of all staff on an annual basis in accordance with IVC policy.
    Ensure clinical staff achieve expected standards of clinical and financial performance.
    Promoting and supporting Diversity and Inclusion within your practice.

    This full-time position entails a 4-day week, providing clinical contributions from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, devoid of weekend or out-of-hours duties.

    At TVC, our five GP clinics boast state-of-the-art surgical and lab facilities, including digital x-ray, comprehensive lab analyser suites, and ultrasound.

    Situated within a 20-minute drive of each other, our clinics form a close-knit network serving the Birmingham and Black Country region.
