    The Senior DevOps Engineer will transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain to enable product delivery, provide coaching and mentoring to more junior colleagues.

    Make sure deployment strategies for products are repeatable, scalable and highly available. Have deep technical knowledge, providing support to delivery teams and solving complex problems.

    Developing various infrastructure solutions on AWS as well as datacenter / private cloud to deliver high availability, rapidly developed, fully automated solutions using predominately open source software which deliver value to the customer.

    Providing technical leadership, help and guidance to less experienced members of the team through mentoring, coaching, constructive review and active participation in various technical forums.

    Ensuring software standards are maintained, being able to train and mentor junior staff. Understanding security policies and implementing solutions that satisfy the security requirements.
    Excellent experience of working on Unix / Linux/ Ubuntu environments.
    Proven practical experience of Java and Python
    Proven practical experience with configuration management tools - Ansible (preferred)
    Proven practical experience and knowledge of AWS.
    Experienced in Fortigate, Fortiweb and Prometheus Monitoring.
    Working knowledge of digital delivery processes and methodologies

    Ability to work with an Agile Team, being able to be self-driven and looking for continuous improvements to both the process and the systems.
