Care Supervisor - Supported Living50 Per hour (£26,000 Per Annum)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Are you a compassionate and skilled Care Supervisor looking for a new challenge? Specialist Care Team is seeking a Care Supervisor to provide leadership and support to our care staff within our supported living service.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing care in accordance with current best practices, and will supervise the staff team in one of our supported living properties.
Across the service, we work primarily with people with learning disabilities, Autism and mental health needs. But we also work with those with older people's needs and physical disabilities.This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to people's lives, which can include helping to ensure their day-to-day life is organised safely, planning extra curricular activities or travelling away.
As a Care Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:Ensuring service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
Being responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Creating and maintaining care plans
Working as a member of the day-to-day hands-on support team, alongside service users and team members
Good English - written and verbal
You should also have achieved, or be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in health and social care (we can provide extra training opportunities for you).
