    Description

    SSP is a prominent operator in the food and beverage industry at travel locations worldwide, with a large team of colleagues across various countries. We run a variety of dining options like restaurants, cafes, lounges, and stores mainly in airports and train stations, offering a mix of international, national, and local brands like Upper Crust, Millies Cookies, M&S, Starbucks, and Burger King. Our goal is to enhance the travel experience by bringing top brands and fresh concepts to our clients, emphasizing value, taste, quality, and service.


    About the role:

    The Group Commercial team plays a central role in sharing best practices and processes across all regions, aiming to enhance EBITDA performance by focusing on sales and gross profit improvements. This involves collaborating closely with the Group Customer team and regional Analysts/Managers, analyzing data to facilitate effective decision-making, developing analytical tools, and tracking key performance metrics to help SSP achieve its targets.


    What you'll be doing:
    - Identify commercial opportunities across brands, categories, and locations using benchmarking techniques.
    - Forecast customer behavior and analyze the impact of changes on sales and profit.
    - Create price proposals to support market strategies and conduct analysis to measure pricing and trials.
    - Translate data into actionable insights and propose data-driven actions for course correction when needed.
    - Develop presentations for brand activities, incorporating P&Ls.

    To be successful in this role you will need:
    - A proven track record of driving decisions through data analysis and evidence-based insights.
    - Experience in extracting business insights from raw data and presenting findings persuasively.
    - Proficiency in utilizing pricing and optimization strategies to drive commercial results.
    - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
    - Expertise in designing reports and analyzing data using Excel with precision and independence.
