    Our clientis keen to expand their economic consultancy team based in the heart of London who specialise in providing strategic economic advice and analysis to a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Their team of experts combines rigorous economic analysis with practical insights to help their clients navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions.

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Economic Consultant at the Manager where the successful candidate will play a key role in leading client engagements, conducting economic research and analysis, and providing strategic advice to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for economics to contribute to impactful projects and drive business growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Lead and manage client engagements, including scoping projects, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
    2. Conduct economic research and analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods to address client needs and solve complex problems.
    3. Provide strategic advice and actionable recommendations to clients based on rigorous economic analysis and industry insights.
    4. Collaborate closely with internal teams to leverage specialised expertise and resources, ensuring comprehensive and integrated solutions for clients.
    5. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients through written reports, presentations, and client meetings.
    6. Stay abreast of economic trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to inform client work and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
    7. Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and building relationships with prospective clients.
    8. Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and growth.

    Qualifications:

    1. Master's or PhD degree in Economics, Finance, or related field from a reputable institution.
    2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in economic consulting, economic research, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading client engagements and delivering impactful results.
    3. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in econometric and statistical analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
    5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively.
    6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients in a team-oriented environment.
    7. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
    8. Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages (e.g., Stata, R, Python) preferred.
