    Description


    Head of Product and Proposition – lending and banking services Liverpool or Welwyn Garden City£85-90k basic salary, plus 10% bonusThe role:This is an exciting opportunity to join us to lead the strategy, development and management of specific products and propositions for the Card Services business across the PayPoint Group, focussing on lending and banking services to SMEs/Retailers and maximising relationships with key acquiring and banking partners.

    Develop a progressive and innovative product roadmap, working with IT colleagues, to deliver further revenue growth, underpinned by strong market and customer insights.

    Lead the 'go to market' plans for these products and propositions. Measure and report against a set target of customer and financial KPI's. Although there are no line management responsibilities, you will be working closely with various teams across the business.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the strategy and development of specific products and propositions for the Cards Services business across the PayPoint GroupBe the 'go to' for the key acquiring and banking partners, leading change projects and supporting the Managing Director, Card Services in delivering revenue growth targetsManage and develop partnerships with third parties in lending and banking services, including existing partnerships with YouLend, Lloyds Cardnet and EVOOwn the P&L for lending and banking services, working closely with the Commercial Finance team to report on performance and drive revenue growthLead the 'go to market' plans, working with teams across the business (Marketing, IT, Service, Sales) to deliver on time and against planSell the product and propositions vision to internal and external teams, gaining buy-in for 'go to market' plansLead innovation and develop new revenue opportunities for the Card Services business, reviewing market/customer insights and working closely with partners to execute effectivelyThe person:Commercially astute with demonstrable capability of owning a P&LDemonstrate tenacity and the ability to lead change and delivery through others10+ years' experience in payments/financial services/lending sectorsFinancial Services background essentialCreative and able to innovate at pace to drive new revenue growth opportunitiesCombines strategic thinking with demonstrable 'hands on' product and propositions experienceGood understanding of technology, IT and legal standardsHighly customer focusedHighly organised with planning/project skillsStrong attention to detailEnjoys working at pace and takes the team with themExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident stakeholder managementAble to deal with different personalities effectivelyComfortable to challenge the status quo and drive changeBenefits£85-90k basic salary, plus 10% bonus25 days annual leave, plus 8 UK bank holidaysContributory pension schemeShare incentive schemeLife assuranceElectric Vehicle SchemeDiscounts through our employee benefits platform
