    Finance Director

    PE Owned Residential Property Business

    £100 – 110,000 + benefits + annual bonus + bonus on exit

    Home based with travel to sites across UK and Central London Office

    A Private Equity owned Residential Property Business is recruiting a new Finance Director. This is newly created role which has arisen due to the acquisition of the business. The business owns 30 sites across the UK and is establishing a new management team. You will have overall responsibility for all Financial Accounting and Operations (outsourced) , Commercial Finance, Performance Reporting and FP&A.

    You will establish and take day-to-day responsibility for the finance function. The Finance Director will sit between the PE owners, Business, and third party operations management company. Expect to be involved in driving performance around new site development and construction planning; sales & marketing reporting; cashflow reporting and forecasting; capex expenditure returns analysis; board reporting; and various other ad pieces of work. The management company's finance team will deliver month end reporting, finance systems and statutory requirements (eg financial accounts, audit etc.) but you will manage this relationship and take ultimate responsibility for these areas.

    You will maintain effective dialogue and control around performance, reporting and general finance, accounting and control issues. You will play a key role in supporting on any exit or future transaction and ensure business readiness.

    The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with the ability to undertake a newly created and autonomous finance role and establish a function. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of residential property development businesses and possess excellent attention to detail, people and communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
