    The team provide legal and business affairs support on a range of contracts and commercial deals with a particular focus on licensing of rights ('rights-out') of scripted and non- scripted programmes to networks, channels and streaming platforms globally; and to provide support on digital publication (FAST, Youtube, AVOD) and other legal matters relevant to the Global Partnerships business as required.

    Drafting, negotiating and advising on agreements for licensing of rights in programmes to channel providers, platforms and streaming services in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

    Drafting, negotiating and executing agreements for publication of digital services via social and online platforms including FAST channels in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

    Establishing relationships with external licensees and the relevant internal team members in GP's sales and digital teams with a view to developing close working relationships and an understanding of the commercial and legal issues concerned.

    Attending departmental and inter-departmental meetings to discuss departmental and company objectives, commercial and legal issues relating to the business division and the company.

    Strong technical commercial law experience with a focus on intellectual property
    Understanding the nature and value of rights in television or films and experience in licensing rights in programmes (either in a sales or rights in capacity)
    Ability to quickly establish excellent working relationships with commercial and legal colleagues
    A background in either television or film licensing, commercial contracts or intellectual property.
