    API and Integrations Product Manager

    Who are we

    SimplifyVMS is a leading global SAAS provider of contingent workforce VMS solutions and is one of the fastest growing extended workforce technology providers globally. Ranked by various industry analysts a leading platform SimplifyVMS continues to evolve and be the pioneer for the larger extended workforce industry.

    SimplifyVMS is a very sophisticated multi-tenant SAAS HR Tech product built on a complex microservices architecture. Looking for a resource who has worked on sophisticated SAAS platforms or microservices products. Experience working with global teams would be a big plus. Should be able to own workstreams within the platform and be responsible for it end to end to deliver outstanding outcomes. Our clients are large enterprise Fortune 500/Global 2000 companies and need complex engineering design to meet their expectations.

    The Role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic API and Integrations Product Manager to join an exciting opportunity for a ground up implementation of integration platform connecting many ERP, P2P, Financial, HRIS, provisioning and other applications.

    Our integration platform is called Simplify Bridge and the goal of the platform is to offer seamless integrations to leading and diverse systems. Below is the solution overview of our platform.

    The product manager will design and lead the product roadmap for our integration platform and work with the engineering team to deliver all aspects of application and 3rd party integrations which includes defining architecture patterns, middleware selection, technical design, DevOps, setting up documentation standards and manage development teams to deliver key integrations.

    As an API and Integration Product Manager, your role would be multifaceted. Let's delve into the key responsibilities and skills associated with this position:

    Defining Product Goals and Vision:

    • You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear product goals.
    • Craft a compelling vision for how integration strategies can enhance HR technology solutions.

    Creating and Owning the Product Roadmap:

    • Develop a strategic roadmap that aligns with the overall product vision.
    • Prioritize features, enhancements, and integrations based on business impact and customer needs.

    Understanding Technical Requirements:

    • Dive deep into technical aspects, including APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
    • Translate these requirements into actionable product features.

    Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to define product architecture and design.
    • Foster effective communication and alignment across departments.

    Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
    • Use this knowledge to inform product decisions and identify integration opportunities.

    Defining and Communicating the Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Clearly articulate the value proposition of integration strategies within the HR Tech ecosystem.
    • Engage with internal and external partners to ensure alignment.

    Agile Methodologies and Practices:

    • Understand and advocate for agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
    • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.

    Crafting Detailed Epics and User Stories:

    • Create and maintain detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of what needs to be built.

    Remember, as an Integration Technical Product Manager, you'll bridge the gap between business needs, technical feasibility, and user experience. Your ability to navigate both the technical and strategic aspects of product management will be crucial

    Required Skills

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced environment with some level of ambiguity on requirements.

    · Experience in working with global teams for timely and quality delivery.

    · B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience

    · 5+ years of experience as a technical product manager for a SaaS platform defining their implementation strategy and platform.

    · Experience working for a HR Tech platform highly desired.

    · Deep understanding of middleware technologies like Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato etc.

    · Proven expertise in designing and developing integration strategy using variety of patterns using API, event based, file based.

    · Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

    · Experience with Integrations in a SAAS solution
