    Senior Financial Analyst Projects - United Kingdom - Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited

    Salary Banding £36k-£40k plus car allowance and competitive benefits

    Alliance Healthcare is a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products, serving pharmacies, hospitals and dispensing doctors throughout the UK on a twice daily basis.

    The team interacts with numerous departments within a large, market leading company as well as external companies across the pharmaceutical industry.

    The Commercial Analyst is responsible for the calculation of brand equalisation rebates.

    The process includes setting rebate prices, identifying and resolving abnormal purchasing behaviour and interpreting prescription data from multiple sources to ensure rebates are correctly calculated and compliance is measured accurately.

    There are multiple internal software packages used but a lot of work will involve Microsoft Excel, so a good understanding is required.

    You will be utilising your analytical skills to identify insights into the purchasing behaviour of our customers in order to formulate and action commercial plans with the goal of growing our customer base, improving our offerings and increasing profitability.

    Calculation of rebates for our brand equalisation offer
    Utilising analytical skills to identify commercial opportunities and plan sales activities
    Assist with the delivery of the commercial strategy
    Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables, experience with other more complex formulae and macros would be desirable
    Proficient in Microsoft tools including 365, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
    Understanding of commercial drivers
    Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial but not essential

    This role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week based at the office in Chessington.
