In this role you will be responsible for handling a wide range of matters with a business focused, practical approach and the ability to simplify complex legal issues.
This role will report to the US General Counsel and be a thought leader and business advisor supporting commercial, tech, product, marketing and other areas of the business.
In addition to providing subject matter expertise and collaborating with stakeholders across the business, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities.
Handle a wide range of legal issues, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, advising on employment matters, and working on intellectual property, privacy and other corporate mattersDevelop and maintain corporate policies and work on legal and compliance projects as needed
Research and provide expert, ethical and pragmatic advice on legal and regulatory issues
Comfortable managing disputes and litigation
Monitor, research and analyze existing law and changes in laws and/or statutes and regulations to evaluate and assess impact on the company and assist in developing necessary policy or process changes
Assist with employee training and education on legal and compliance matters

~Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
~ Ability to be creative and practical with a focus on innovation in a highly regulated industry
