    Job summary

    We are looking for an experienced practice nurse to lead a team of 2 practice nurses and 2 experienced HCAs, workingacross two sites in Chapel Allerton & Chapeltown.

We have big dreams and we are looking for anexperienced practice nurse to lead and develop our nursing team.

    We are flexible with regards to hours and will consider bothfull-time and part-time. We anticipate the salary band for the role being depending on skills and experience but we will workwith the right candidate to find the best package.

    Job responsibilities

  • Leading the team to meet patient needs including QoF outcomes and other local priorities.
  • Work with our Patient Support team to ensure the recall system reviews patients with the right people at the right time.
  • Be the voice of the nurse team within practice management.
  • Support and mentor the professional development of your colleagues
  • Manage the Nurse Team - arranging rotas and cover
    • Person Specification

    Experience

    Essential

  • Strong clinical practice skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Worked satisfactorily in a flat organisational structure
  • Worked effectively as a team member
  • Good organisational skills demonstrated by delivering own work effectively in complex environments

    • Desirable

  • Experience of leading a nurse team
  • Experience of mentoring colleagues

    • Qualifications

    Essential

  • Registered with NMC and experience of working in general practice
