Our front-of-house team are the first point of contact for clients and visitors and we pride ourselves on our warmth, professionalism and excellent client service.
As a Bank Receptionist, you will consistently provide exceptional levels of client care in either our Dundee, Fife, Perth or Angus offices.
The scope of this role will include:
Welcoming clients, colleagues and visitors to the officeAnswering and transferring incoming phone calls including new business and client enquiriesManaging meeting room bookings using our online systemPreparing meeting rooms; managing refreshments where necessary and maintaining the front of house areaAssisting clients with enquiries, taking payments of fees, collections and deliveriesResponsibility for First Aid and Fire Warden duties (full training provided)
Working across a variety of Thorntons offices in Dundee, Fife, Angus and PerthWhat we're looking forWe're looking for someone with the following skills, experience and qualities:
Friendly and helpfulKeen to provide an excellent client experienceA positive attitudeEmpathy and emotional intelligenceDependable and reliableGreat customer service skillsGreat communication skillsGreat telephone skillsGood IT skillsOrganised, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task when requiredWilling to do first aid training and be an office fire wardenHoursMonday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm (40 hours per week)This is a fixed Term Contract – 6 MonthsLocationsAs a Bank Receptionist, you will have a base office but will also be required to work across other offices in Fife, Perth and Angus which could include our Anstruther, Cupar, St Andrews, Dundee, Perth, Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose offices.
In most circumstances, you will be given reasonable notice of which office you will be required to work in and the cost of travel to any office that is not your base office will be fully supported.
On the occasions that cover is required due to unexpected absence, however, you may be required to cover at short notice.
