    Head of Product Engineering (neuroTech)

    We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Product Engineering (NeuroTech) based inCambridge

    Role DescriptionEngage in a hands-on position within our Research and Development (R&D) team, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, doctors, and scientists.

    Your primary objective will be to advance lightweight, high-sensitivity electronics, contributing to the development of life-saving products.

    Having successfully demonstrated the technology in a controlled environment, we are now progressing to the creation of a prototype for clinical trials.

    In this role, you will play a crucial part in transitioning the current prototype to the next phase for commercialisation.

    We are seeking versatile engineers with a multidisciplinary approach to design and construct prototype electronics and firmware systems. This involves tasks such as schematic capture and board bring-up. This position offers a significant degree of autonomy, allowing you to shape it according to your strengths. Operating at the forefront of technology, you will have ample opportunities to explore and test your innovative ideas.

    Their team values in-depth analysis of intricate problems, considering the broader impact on the product and the collaborative team.

    As part of your responsibilities, you will be involved in specifying requirements and exploring various options, rapidly iterating on potential solutions, and rigorously testing and debugging your implemented solutions.

    Key Technical Skills

    • Developing sensorbased products in R&D
    • Experience working with small signals (Femto, Pico, Nano Range)
    • Languages: Python, Embedded C
    • Embedded system architecture with highspeed IC
    • Reducing EM Interference and crosstalk with highend analogue acquisition chain
    • Experience in dealing with high impedance sources, and noise and leakage reduction techniques
    • Schematic Capture and PCB Design and Circuit Design
    • ADC / DAC
    • Signal Processing and conditioning and Signal analysis through exploratory and investigatory R&D
    • First off hardware bring up, debugging, and characterisation
    • Debugging and Characterisation of firstoff hardware
    • Biological or Sensor signals
    • Digital signal processing experience with modulation/demodulation algorithms
