    IntroductionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a 12month fixed term contact.

    You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed short-term Co-Manufacturing amp; Co-packing production plans including Merchandising Units to support finished goods inventory target and customer service levels.

    You will also provide capacity analysis to highlight any imbalances between capacity and demand and make recommendations for proactive actions to be taken which mitigate service risks and optimise costs.

    The RecipeWork closely with Co-Manufacturing amp; Co-Packing suppliers and Supply Chain to ensure capacity meets both short (12 weeks) and medium-term (up to 18 months) demandMonitor output from suppliers, responding effectively to issuesReview planning processes to improve on time delivery and total manufacturing costs Maintain targeted FG stock levels to maximize service and minimize write offs Work with the Material Planners to ensure that solutions are agreed where material constraints could result in plan changes or impact on service levels Raise purchase orders for Co-Manufactured Finished Goods items and monitor delivery Co-ordinate successful delivery of Merchandising Units from Demand Signal to dispatchCo-ordinate European Co-Manufacturing planning with the International TeamsSupport Packaging changes and Innovation projects in co-ordination with the Project Manager through to planned product launch phase Escalate supply and capacity issues to Production Planning Manager/Supply Chain Leadership Team or wider business as required Original jobs :
