      • Introduction

      The Strategic Estates team oversees the management of the Parliamentary Estate, providing support to both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Responsibilities range from construction projects to the preservation of heritage collections. Central business support functions are also managed, along with administrative resources.

      The Strategic Estates Portfolio Management Office (SEPMO) supports the House by overseeing estates projects and programs for both Houses, offering change and engagement support, risk management, and portfolio analysis and reporting.

      The Role

      Join the Strategic Estates Portfolio Management Office (SE PMO) as the Head of Portfolio Risk. You'll be instrumental in enhancing risk management practices across projects, focusing on standardizing risk management approaches, improving risk data management, and providing guidance to project teams on risk processes.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Implementing industry best practices for risk management within the SE PMO
      • Conducting monthly risk assurance activities and engaging with project teams to monitor risk profiles
      • Offering risk leadership and guidance to the project risk management community

        • Skills and Experience

        • Proven experience in risk management within a dynamic portfolio environment
        • Track record of managing and improving processes with attention to detail
        • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
        • Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills
        • Clear communication of complex information to stakeholders
        • Ability to facilitate senior-level discussions and develop internal communication material
        • Experience in integrating information from various sources for strategic decision-making
