- Controlling the tax department compliance and ad hoc work, including the management of a Tax Senior.
- Conduct in-depth tax consultations with clients to understand their financial goals and circumstances.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to clients.
- Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and help resolve any tax issues they may encounter.
- Liaise with external bodies to ensure tax advice is delivered accurately and promptly.
- Strong personal tax compliance experience gained within an Accountancy Practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being confident liaising with a wide range of clients both face-to-face and over email/phone.
- ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
- Exit/ Succession planning, including purchase of own shares, MBO, HMRC Clearance Applications.
- Remuneration planning: Dividend vs. Bonus.
- Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) Schemes.
- Setting up Employment Related Securities (ERS) Scheme with HMRC
- Annual leave starting at 25 days + bank holidays, rising to 27 days + bank holidays with promotion.
