    Woodside Logistics Group is seeking a skilled analyst to join the finance and analytics team at our headquarters.


    With advancements in technology and the increasing interconnectedness of devices, the amount of data available is at an all-time high.

    Financial data, trucks, warehouses, phones, IT systems, and other devices are in constant communication.


    As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in interpreting this data and transforming it into valuable insights that can drive decision-making across the organization.

    Through this role, you will enhance your proficiency in tools like Excel and explore newer technologies such as Power BI, Power Query, and Business Central.

    You will develop practical skills in databases and data extraction through SQL queries.

    This position sits at the confluence of Finance, IT, and Operations, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the logistics sector while collaborating with various arms of the Group within one of Northern Ireland's premier transportation firms.


    Woodside Logistics Group employs a workforce of over 650 individuals across multiple locations, engaging with prominent businesses in Northern Ireland and the UK.

    This role contributes to real-time dashboards and information for informed decision-making.

    Internally, we continuously monitor key metrics to ensure operational and financial efficiency.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Analysis of company finances through dashboards and reports
    Contribute to cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting reports
    Participate in weekly reporting for each sector.
    Develop and manage customer dashboards.

    Collaborate with support departments (Payroll, HR, IT, H&S, Workshop) to fulfill reporting needs.

    Support additional tasks as necessary.

    Essential Criteria:

    Undergraduate degree in business or related field with at least a 2.1 classification
    Strong analytical and presentation abilities
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI
