    About the role

    Location: Trinity Park, Bickenhill Lane, Birmingham B37 7ES

    Salary: £22,000

    Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days working from home

    Are you experienced in payroll or HR? We are seeking someone with strong administration skills.

    Ideally, we are looking for an easy-going individual with excellent efficiency and workload management abilities.

    This role involves resolving payroll disputes, so it is crucial to prioritize, manage your resources effectively, and maintain high standards in the payroll department.

    What you'll be doing
    • Liaising and handling inquiries from temporary workers and internal/external customers.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry to meet deadlines.
    • Calculating Statutory Sick and Maternity Pay and other statutory payments.
    • Responding to inquiries from external agencies such as Inland Revenue, DSS, etc.
    • Administering payroll information, including time sheets, new hire files, reports, etc.
    • Dealing with errors, amendments, and complying with payroll procedures.
    • Undertaking duties to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
    • Performing manual tax, NI, and SL deductions on UK and Irish payrolls.
    • Upholding values and complying with audit requests effectively.
