    Veterinary Surgeon
    We are a privately owned and managed Veterinary Practice located in Wirral.

    Situated within easy access to Liverpool, Chester, and Manchester, as well as beautiful beaches and countryside, our practice serves a growing client base with a focus on small companion animals.

    With a well-equipped facility and a dedicated team, we are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care to our community.

    Position:
    Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years qualified)
    We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon (or two) to replace one who is retiring.

    Ideally, the successful applicant(s) will have approximately 5 years post graduate experience but we could consider someone with a little less.

    We are looking to recruit to full time positions but would be open to considering someone interested in a part time position.

    We can be flexible and work around childcare obligations.
    Well-equipped lab, ultrasound, and X-ray facilities.
    Four-day work week, offering a healthy work-life balance.
    Rotational Saturday mornings (1 in 3) with half day off in lieu.
    Supportive team environment fostering professional growth and development.
    Competitive salary ranging from £48,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
    Pension scheme and additional staff discounts.
    Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
    Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills, with a passion for providing compassionate care.
    Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing caseloads and schedules.
    Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical principles in veterinary practice.
    Negotiable salary based on experience, with room for growth and advancement.
    Reasonable CPD allowance to support ongoing professional development.

    Generous annual leave of 4 weeks plus all Public Holidays, with an additional day off for your Birthday.

    Our practice boasts a collaborative and supportive team environment, comprising three Veterinary Surgeons, nursing staff, receptionists, and management personnel.

    Our surgery operates Monday to Friday from 9.30 pm, with a short clinic each Saturday from 10.Rosters for the Veterinary Surgeons are flexible, allowing for adjustments to individual requirements.

    Additionally, we have a locum Veterinary Surgeon who comes in one day per week to support the team.
