    Delegated Underwriting Analyst

    Location: London

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Work Pattern: Full Time and Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

    About The Role

    What You'll Spend Your Time Doing

    The Delegated Underwriting Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all forms of Delegated authority arrangements for MS Amlin follow the policies, procedures and processes of the Delegated Underwriting Authority framework and that a professional, efficient and effective service is provided at all times.

  • Risk assess new binding authorities and ensure effective due diligence takes place
  • Support to underwriters and guide them through the application process as may be necessary
  • Sponsor new coverholder applications through Lloyds and log amendments to existing coverholder applications
  • Liaise with BDX, Claims, Complaints, Compliance, Credit risk and Wording team to ensure a smooth and accurate management of the financial and processing aspects of all facilities.
  • Monitor the ongoing performance of coverholders and binding authorities
  • Ensure the Coverholder information held in our systems is accurate and kept up to date
  • Assist on the systems testing and liaise with the IT and Project departments
  • Issue reminders of forthcoming renewals
  • Produce reports for team and management meetings
  • Escalate any issues or concerns arising to the Delegated Authority Manager
  • Document and follow up on any subjectivities/ issues arising

    What Can You Expect From Us?

  • Competitive Base Salary
  • Performance Related Discretionary Bonus
  • Holiday : 28 days core annual leave, and you can buy up to 5 days
  • Pension: A minimum 2% employee contribution plus 7% MS Amlin contribution (9%) up to a maximum of 5% employee contribution plus 13% MS Amlin contribution (18%)

  • Flex Fund: £1,000 (pro-rated based on start date) to spend on flexible benefits
  • Life Assurance : 10 x annualised base salary
