    Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior I Radiographer Rotational - General/X-Ray to join our Imaging Team, with a competitive salary range on offer.

    What will your duties include?

  • Monitors, evaluates and reports status of the X-ray and Fluoroscopy departmental operations. Acts as a liaison internally and externally.
  • Professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of own practice, working within national legislation, departmental and hospital wide policy, Code of Conduct and professional guidelines ensuring delivery of imaging services emulates "best practices".
  • Develops Caregivers with effective coaching, counselling and mentoring. Plans and implements education and training programs.
  • Assist Radiography Leads and management team to develop new and maintain existing Imaging Service policies, procedures and protocols; to reflect recognised best practice and are practical in application.
  • Assist Radiology Leads to ensure Caregivers are trained on new equipment.
  • Maintain a work environment that fosters quality care delivery, accountability and employee satisfaction.
  • Assist implementation of new patient care services to keep the Institute market competitive and produce positive clinical outcomes; keeps abreast of current practice trends.
  • Provide direct patient care in specialty areas. Flexible approach to working hours, prepared to participate fully in shifts, extended working days and on–call working rotation and schedules as may be required.
  • Undertake relevant training and competency assessments, strictly adhering to agreed protocols and procedures. To supply medicines using Patient Group Directions, without compromising patient safety. This involves ascertaining the patient's suitability for drugs and taking joint responsibility for the potential complications under the indirect supervision of radiologists. To be aware of the clinical hazards and emergencies that such drugs can induce.
  • What we need from you?

  • Minimally a BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required.
  • Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required.
  • Certified Radiation Protection Supervisor desired.
  • Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiology knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in Radiology.
  • Relevant personal history of continuing professional development.
  • Understanding of radiographic equipment in the context of how images are produced for both ionising and non-ionising radiation imaging methods and how images are appropriately shared and/or stored.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Requires high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer.
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a complex environment and supervise members of the team, ensuring high quality, safe and effective patient care.
  • Ability to speak and write in English at the equivalent to level of 7 of the International English Language Testing System or the Occupational English Test (OET) at level B.
