    Ace Hire Recruits is a reputable employment agency that specialises in providing accounting and finance staffing solutions. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountancy Assistant to join one of our prestige clients. As an Accountancy Assistant, you will provide vital support to our clients accounting teams, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the accounting field and work with a diverse range of clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the preparation and processing of financial documents, such as invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
    • payroll
    • Input financial data into the accounting system accurately and promptly
    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
    • Track and record financial transactions
    • Assist with audits and provide support during tax preparation
    • Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Proficient in using accounting software Sage and MS Excel
    • must have practice experience
    • Acca/AAT experience
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Highly reliable and trustworthy
