We are looking for an experienced Associate Director, Fluvial Geomorphologist to join our fantastic UK&I Water team.

Here you will be responsible for high quality project delivery, with roles to suit the ideal candidate in planning, managing, modelling and designing sustainable geomorphology and river restoration schemes.

A selection of our current and recent projects includes:

Catchment planning for WFD objectives and Nature Recovery Networks nationally.

Analysing flow and sediment impacts for water transfer Strategic Resource Options, including the River Tame, River Trent, River Humber, and Grand Union Canal.

Detailed geomorphological field surveys along the whole route of HS2 Phase 2a.
Detailed geomorphological field surveys across the United Utilities region.

Catchment planning
Project management

All members of the Water Environment team take an active role in client contact and commercial aspects of our projects.

Our Geomorphology team is currently ten-strong, and work closely with colleagues dealing with all aspects of surface water, groundwater, estuaries, lakes and the marine environment.

As an experienced geomorphologist, you'll provide line management and training to peers and junior team members, and liaise closely with internal and external clients.
