- Manage the laboratory with regards to the staff, sampling, analysis, stock control, use of contractors and external bodies
- Responsible for COSHH assessments, training of operational personnel in lab techniques, issue and review of lab risk assessments
- Monitor, report and resolve process issues in conjunction with the operational teams
- Responsible for the site process management including trackers, dashboards, and control charts
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, environmental or scientific discipline.
- Extensive experience in a technical and/or environmental management role for an industrial process.
- Experience of laboratory testing and process sampling.
- High energy and positive attitude
- Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Organisational skills and the ability to forward plan and meet deadlinesWhat do we offer you?
