    We work in the transport and energy sectors, providing consultancy, engineering and operations services for clients such as major airports, governments, regulators, cities and rail and road operators.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate must possess MEP knowledge, with experience in both single and multidisciplinary projects related to Public Health Engineering

    As a design engineer, responsibilities include developing electrical fixed plant designs, calculations, reports, specifications, schematic, and layout drawings for Rail infrastructure projects.

    The candidate must ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications, implementing quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and safety of electrical designs.

    Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and engineering managers is crucial for integrating electrical systems with other infrastructure elements.

    Collaborate, converse, and actively participate in meetings with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address design-related challenges and provide technical support to junior engineers.

    The candidate should be capable of independently resolving routine design issues and applying knowledge/training to complex tasks with minimal supervision.

    Efficiently managing work and coordinating electrical design aspects of railway projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints are essential.

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or several years of design, construction or assurance experience in railway electrical engineering.


    Preferred:
    Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (MicroStation or AutoCAD).

    Preferred:
    Proficiency in electrical software for electrical design (Amtech (Trimble), Etap, CYMCAP, CDEGS).
    Proficiency in HV/LV Earthing and Bonding and lighting, and previous experience as a design CEM/CRE are beneficial
