Because Gibraltar wages buy an almost luxury standard of living in the south of Spain, many people who work here actually commute from one of the nearby towns on the Costa del Sol The Content Specialist will be responsible for providing German copywriting services to the business.You will play an important role, based in the editorial team creating copy for the company brand portfolio, which will involve researching, writing creative concepts and working from an initial brief to the final sign off.
    The ideal candidate will have web content or traditional media copywriting background be fluent in German and English and be a strong communicator with superb attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

    • Bring new ideas for content
    • Content strategy implementation - planning and delivering best in class customer facing content
    • Create content for online media sites (proof reading and small translations).
    • Optimize & localize content across DE markets to improve visibility in search engines
    • Undertake research using a variety of sources and tools
    • May be required to coordinate freelancers and external resources
    • Help coordinating with other markets
    Essential criteria:
    • Native level of German with other language skills beneficial
    • Be passionate about online copywriting
    • Experience in writing, editing and producing engaging content in an interesting and appealing manner for house organs, magazines, blogs or any other online formats
    • Experience with most common content management systems
    • Planning skills & attention to details: Ensuring live information is accurate and up to date
    • Able to multitask and re-prioritise work schedules according to needs
    • Liaising with content team and other departments
    • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on writing and web content
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Keep up to date with Content Marketing Strategies and legislation

    The Desirables:

    • Previous experience with Content marketing & writing content for the web (SEO copywriting)
    • Knowledge of DE and more German markets
    • Hands on experience on Social Media
