    Description
    Software Development Manager
    • Hull £50,000 to £70,000Principal IT are working exclusively with a company based in Hull that are recruiting for a Software Development Manager.
    Our client is currently on a mission to utilise technology and innovative thinking to bring a better, faster, and greener approach.


    Role & Responsibilities:


    As the Software Development Manager, you will assist the Chief Technology Officer in the successful running of the group's software development function.

    You will be responsible for the line management of the company's in-house development resources.


    Experience Required:


    Great interpersonal skills with an ability to be able to articulate internally and externally verbally & via emailConducting 1-2-1's and reviews for the Software TeamDelivering product roadmaps for key projectsAnalytical Thinking, the job requires the ability to analyse information and the use of logic to address work-related issues and problemsExperience with full stack web development.

    Preferably working with frameworks such as LaravelExperience or an understanding of ISO(phone number removed) & Cyber Essential PlusTo have worked in SCRUM/self-managing teams environmentExperience in delivering software 'projects' across a range of technologiesProficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
